The U.S. Commercial Service, the export promotion arm of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, and the Free Trade Alliance San Antonio will host a two-day international business forum designed to help U.S. firms take advantage of established and emerging export opportunities. This event will provide participants with up-to-date market intelligence and help develop practical strategies for exporting their goods and services to markets in Africa and the Middle East.

Discover Global Markets 2014 will feature high-ranking U.S. government officials, visiting U.S. commercial diplomats posted at U.S. Embassies abroad, and international business leaders from the private sector. Experts on trade finance, market entry strategies, risk mitigation, and several industry sectors, including oil and gas, renewable energy, aerospace and defense, healthcare, information technology, and transportation and security infrastructure, will alert attendees to recent and anticipated developments that will impact where—and how—to develop new business opportunities in these regions. Discover Global Markets 2014 will also provide plenty of opportunities to network with U.S. trade officials and diplomats, industry leaders and other U.S. exporters.
