U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council Hosts Her Highness Sheikha Dr. Hind Al Qassimi

The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council recently hosted Her Highness Sheikha Dr. Hind Al Qassimi, Chairwoman of the U.A.E. Business Women Council, and a Delegation of Distinguished U.A.E. Women Leaders, who visited Washington, D.C. to meet with their U.S. counterparts in government and business, and discuss the important role women play in U.A.E. society.

During the meeting with Business Council members, Danny Sebright, President of the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council, recognized the accomplishments of individual delegation members and emphasized how Emirati women are excelling in various fields. He also invited the U.A.E. Business Women Council to become an Honorary Member of the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council.

“It would be an honor for the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council to extend an Honorary Membership to the U.A.E. Business Women Council,” said Sebright.  “The U.S.-U.A.E Business Council hopes to work with the U.A.E. Business Women Council in a close partnership to further promote women’s rights in the U.A.E.”

The delegation’s visit to Washington was organized by the U.A.E. Embassy and coincided with the U.A.E.’s 38th National Day.
