Who We Are

Launched in May 2007, the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council was inaugurated by His Highness, Crown Prince, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness, Foreign Minister, Sheikh Abudullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and is comprised of nearly 100 members from a broad range of U.S. and U.A.E. commercial sectors.

The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council is a progressive business advocacy organization solely committed to the advancement of the trade and commercial relationship between the U.S. and the U.A.E.

What We Do

The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council provides its diverse membership unparalleled access to senior decision makers in business and government in the U.A.E. and in the U.S. The Business Council actively works to ensure that the U.S. and U.A.E. remain attractive destinations for foreign direct investment by conducting effective policy advocacy, undertaking various trade promotion initiatives, providing ongoing updates on the business climate in both countries, and helping develop strategic relationships between U.S. and U.A.E. business and government officials.

The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council’s policy advocacy and work priorities for 2011 include specific focus in the areas of:

  • Commercial Trade and Foreign Direct Investment
  • Energy Development (Renewable, Nuclear, Oil & Gas)
  • Aerospace, Defense, Security
  • Infrastructure Development and Green Build
  • Media, Tourism, and Culture
  • Medicine and Education

Join Us

The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council has three different membership levels: Founding, Corporate, and Associate.

Founding:

  • Dues – $50,000 for two (2) years and $25,000 for each year after the initial two (2) year period.
  • One seat on the Board of Directors and the possibility for other leadership positions.
  • Invitations to U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council events focused on strengthening the U.S.-U.A.E. business, economic and policy relationship. Events range from briefings, high-level meetings, and receptions; providing unprecedented networking and market intelligence opportunities.
  • Daily Media Clips highlighting the business, geopolitical, and member companies/organization’s activities in the U.A.E. and the broader Middle East.
  • Periodic U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council updates providing insight on the business and political climate of the U.S. and U.A.E.

Corporate:

  • Dues – $10,000 on an annual basis
  • Invitations to U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council events focused on strengthening the U.S.-U.A.E. business, economic and policy relationship. Events range from briefings, high-level meetings, and receptions; providing unprecedented networking and market intelligence opportunities.
  • Daily Media Clips highlighting the business, geopolitical, and member companies/organization’s activities in the U.A.E. and the broader Middle East.
  • Periodic U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council updates providing insight on the business and political climate of the U.S. and U.A.E.

Associate:

  • Dues – $5,000 (reserved for Educational, Healthcare, and not for profit institutions)
  • Invitations to U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council events focused on strengthening the U.S.-U.A.E. business, economic and policy relationship. Events range from briefings, high-level meetings, and receptions; providing unprecedented networking and market intelligence opportunities.
  • Daily Media Clips highlighting the business, geopolitical, and member companies/organization’s activities in the U.A.E. and the broader Middle East.
  • Periodic U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council updates providing insight on the business and political climate of the U.S. and U.A.E.
