U.S. Expo 2020 Standing Committee Update

The U.S. Expo 2020 Standing Committee has received the invitation focused on “Event Operations–Guest Services, Venue Operations, and Accreditation” in the sixth of a series of workshops and roundtable discussions hosted by Expo 2020 Dubai in an effort to deepen its engagement with the business community, sharing fresh insights and discussing opportunities for partnership and collaboration.

Expo 2020 continues its series of engagements with the local and international business community; sharing fresh insights and discussing opportunities for partnership and collaboration.

We will be hosting a session focused on Event Operations during Expo 2020 Dubai. The aim of this session is to facilitate a dialogue, share relevant expertise, and enable the development of recommendations around the following areas:

Guest Services: How to enhance the guest experience and services required to manage guest interactions. For example: queuing and crowd management, guided tours, and visitor information centers
Venue Operations: Facilitating the delivery of all operations across the Expo site, including the efficient and safe coordination and supervision of people, information and services, as well as the facilitation and resolution of operational issues. For example: managing operational data, coordinating visitor attractions, and providing first aid response.
Accreditation: The function of issuing tickets or accreditation passes allowing access to the Site and controlling access within secure areas.

Seats at the session will be prioritized for individuals and firms with experience in:

Hospitality, Entertainment, Sport and Leisure, Retail, Healthcare/Medical, Security, Technology and Innovation, Transport, Tourism and Destination Attractions, Infrastructure, Event Management, and Facilities Management

8.30am – 9.00am Registration and Coffee
9.00am – 1:00pm Presentation and Interactive Discussion
1:00pm Lunch
