The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council, in partnership with the Association of American Railroads (AAR), will lead a U.S. Rail and Infrastructure Trade Mission to the U.A.E from June 20-24.  The trade delegation will be comprised of U.S. and U.A.E. companies in train and railway transport, infrastructure and construction, intermodal and bulk shipping, and inland and naval port industries.

The Trade Mission will focus on the multi-billion dollar Union Railway project and the required infrastructure to integrate the railway into the U.A.E.’s transportation and shipping grid.  More details about the Union Railway, the overall project, and how to pre-qualify can be found at www.unionrailway.com .

Participants on this trade mission will learn more about how to compete for business in this sector in the U.A.E., as well as build relationships with potential Emirati commercial partners. The program will also offer site visits and general information about doing business in the U.A.E.

The first phase of the opportunity is near term and all interested U.S. and U.A.E. companies are urged to register as soon as possible at https://www.regonline.com/usrailmission .  Please see the mission “flyer” for additional details on the delegation and preferred hotels/flights. The mission is supported by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Commercial Service, the U.A.E. Embassy Commercial Office, Washington D.C., and the Union Railway.  Please contact Mr. Brian Principato at bprincipato@usuaebusiness.org or +1-202-863-7288.
