Ally Reiland joined the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council as an Associate Director in January of 2021. In this capacity, Ally leads the Business Council’s efforts in the aerospace and defense as well as legal verticals.
Previously, Ally worked with the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations focusing on research, translation work, outreach, and supporting the National Council’s Model Arab League program. Prior to that, Ally spent her time competing on the most winningest Mock Trial team in the nation: University of Maryland Mock Trial. Ally also founded the University of Maryland’s very first Model Arab League team and served as an Ambassador for the Arab-American Business and Professional Association.
Ally studied at both the U.S. Air Force Academy and the University of Maryland, where she graduated with a Bachelors in Government and Politics with a minor in Arabic. Ally also studied abroad at the Arab American Language Institute of Morocco in Meknes, Morocco. She speaks Modern Standard Arabic with some knowledge of regional dialects. Alongside speaking Arabic, she also speaks some Spanish and looks for any chance to sharpen her foreign language skills.
