Alyssa Kristeller joined the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council as an Associate Director in September of 2022.
Previously, Alyssa interned with the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington, where she supported the publication of scholarly research and the planning and execution of discussion panels and events focused on the politics, economics, and cultural affairs relating to the countries of the Arab Gulf. Prior to that, Alyssa represented the U.S. as a Youth Ambassador at the U.S.A. Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, where she used her Arabic language skills to give tours of the pavilion and engage with guests from around the world. Prior to that, while studying in university, Alyssa was a piano teacher for three years at a music school in Bethesda, Maryland.
Alyssa holds a B.A. in International Studies from American University, where she also minored in Arabic and Music. Alyssa speaks Arabic and French and has been playing the piano since she was four years old.
