Amira Siddiqi

Amira Siddiqi joined the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council as a Senior Director in December of 2022.

Previously, Amira worked at the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies, a U.S. Department of Defense regional center focused on security cooperation. She planned and executed international, local, and virtual seminars catered to military and country officials in the MENA region. Prior to that, she was an intern at the NESA Center where she focused on research and curriculum development.

Amira holds a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University with a major in Religious Studies and a minor in Middle East Studies. She is pursuing her Master of Arts in Islamic Studies at The George Washington University. In the summer of 2019, Amira studied abroad at the Qasid Arabic Institute in Amman, Jordan. She enjoys traveling, skiing, and trying new restaurants.
