The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council is pleased to support the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit (GMIS) 2024. This event will take place on 5 December 2024 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) during the inaugural Abu Dhabi Business Week.
The Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit (GMIS) is the world’s first cross-industrial and crossfunctional platform that offers a voice and venue for leaders to transform manufacturing and utilize technology as a tool for global cooperation and collaboration to encourage greater investment in capabilities, foster innovation and drive global skills development.
Co-chaired by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and the United Arab Emirates, GMIS unites influential delegates from the global manufacturing and technology communities, including leaders from governments, expert industry CEOs and specialist researchers and academics to discuss, debate and shape the future of the manufacturing sector and place manufacturing at the heart of economic regeneration and government policymaking.
In partnership with the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority and guided by the Manifesto for Global Industrial Safety, GMIS2024 will convene global thought leaders to drive industry-wide discussions to integrate digital transformation with robust safety principles. Under the theme, Resilient by Design: The Next Frontier in Industrial Safety, #GMIS2024 will explore critical topics such as AI-driven risk management, cybersecurity in manufacturing, innovative emergency response, and more.
