The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council hosted a private luncheon with His Excellency Yousif Ahmed Al Ali, Assistant Undersecretary at the U.A.E. Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure on Sunday, September 5th at the Rosewood in Abu Dhabi. Setting the scene ahead of Gastech 2021 taking place 21-23 September in Dubai, H.E. discussed the U.A.E.’s overall energy strategy and goals for the future with leading U.S. and U.A.E. companies.

U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council President Danny Sebright convened leading business executives from 30 companies to discuss Gastech and associated opportunities. Attendees also discussed COP 26, the U.A.E.’s future energy plan, hydrogen and the Abu Dhabi Hydrogen Alliance, carbon capture technologies and opportunities for bilateral cooperation. This is the second time the Business Council has hosted H.E. Al Ali, under the auspices of the Business Council’s Climate Change Task Force.

This lunch helps herald the Business Council’s return to in-person events in both countries, and kicks off a very busy and packed schedule of fall programming.
