The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council is pleased to direct your attention to the 3rd Annual Global Entrepreneurial Summit (GES) taking place on December 11-12th, 2012 at the Dubai World Trade Center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.) under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the U.A.E. and Ruler of Dubai.

This year’s GES will be hosted by the U.A.E. government, the U.S. State Department’s Global Entrepreneurship Program in coordination with the White House and several U.S. agencies, and in partnership with Entrepreneurial Ventures of Arabia (EVA)— “the U.A.E.’s flagship platform for entrepreneurship across the Arab world”.

GES was launched by United States President Barack Obama in 2009 as a global platform “to empower entrepreneurs with the skills and resources necessary to compete and thrive in the 21st century.”

“At this Summit, we look to build and strengthen partnerships with one another in order to create opportunity and provide the resources to succeed. We believe entrepreneurs can create jobs that fortify relationships between countries, build global markets, and help fulfill the dreams of all who desire the freedom to make of their lives what they will.” – President Obama

The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council proudly supports the 3rd Annual GES, applauds the entrepreneurial spirit embodied by the U.A.E.’s leadership and citizens, and encourages all U.S. and Emirati businesses to participate in this historic event.

The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council will likely hold a policy event on the sidelines of the conference.
