The U.S.- U.A.E. Business Council is pleased to support Investopia 2023, taking place 1-3 March 2023 in Abu Dhabi. The theme of Investopia 2023 is ‘envisioning opportunities in times of change’, and it will be held in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development.
Investopia is a U.A.E.- based platform that connects the global investment community around future investment opportunities. It is an ecosystem that draws on the dynamic and imaginative spirit of the U.A.E. but reaches far beyond. It is designed for those wishing to benefit from the U.A.E.’s unique future-focused economy and its position as an investment hub for some of the fastest growing markets in the world.
Investopia connects the global investment community around future investment opportunities. It is an ecosystem that draws on the dynamic and imaginative spirit of the U.A.E. but reaches far beyond. It is designed for those wishing to benefit from the U.A.E.’s unique future-focused economy and its position as an investment hub for some of the fastest growing markets in the world. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister of the U.A.E. and Ruler of Dubai, and H.E. Abdullah Bin Touq AlMarri, U.A.E. Minister of Economy, launched Investopia at the end of 2021. Investopia’s 2022 inaugural event during Expo 2020 hosted 800 participants from 45 different countries and brought more than 200 C-suite executives together in a future-focused business environment. Following the event, Investopia as a platform strengthened its presence through various Global Talks in New York, Geneva, New Delhi, Mumbai, Cairo, Rabat, and Havana.
The program will focus on 3 critical areas:
1. The Economy in 2023. Will 2023 mark a new beginning for the global economy, financial markets, investors and corporate sector in the wake of Covid 19, commodity and energy crises, an inflation crisis, geopolitical tensions, renormalization of monetary policy, a global economic slowdown and financial market correction?
2. The Future of the Wealth of Nations. The emergence of new economic sectors will lead growth going forward. How will this develop into opportunities for investors and more resilient financial markets in advanced economies and emerging markets?
3. Net-zero Growth Opportunities. The global net-zero agenda calls for mobilization of significant investment including a promised $100 billion per year to assist developing countries. Investopia 2023 will in parallel focus on the enormous investment opportunities for diversification and innovation, economic growth and job creation around the globe.
At Investopia 2023, leading global figures will set out their vision through dialogue in headline plenaries and thematic sessions. Communities will grow through Investopia’s dedicated space for Cap Intro and Matchmaking, in addition to closed investment and business roundtables for its high-level attendees. Investopia 2023 will also launch a market place for investment, providing speed-pitching opportunities, facilities for business announcements, and linking investors to promising projects through its platform.
