Khaled Hashem

Khaled Hashem is President of Honeywell in the Middle East and Africa [MEA] region, with a remit to spearhead the company’s strategy for MEA, focused on driving global alignment to the three megatrends of automation, the future of aviation and the energy transition, all the while shaping a diversified portfolio of products and solutions tailored for the local market, driving key customer engagements and building the talent and leadership pipeline.

Joining Honeywell in 2016 as President of Egypt and Libya, Khaled expanded his responsibilities in 2019 to lead all of North Africa, playing a key role in driving operational and sales excellence and deepening customer engagement.

Prior to joining Honeywell, Khaled was the country manager at General Electric in the East Mediterranean region. He has held multiple leadership positions across major critical infrastructure and oil and gas multinational organizations, including General Electric, ExxonMobil and Metito in Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe. He also serves as the Chairperson of the Energy Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt and is a board member of the Sovereign Fund of Egypt and the Egyptian Export Council of Engineering Industries.

Khaled holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree (B.A.Sc.) in engineering from the American University in Cairo [AUC], as well as a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from AUC and a Master’s degree in Business Studies from IE business school in Madrid, Spain, where he is also finalizing his PhD degree in Business. Khaled was awarded the “Distinguished Alumnus” award from AUC in 2020.

Khaled is based in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
