Magdelena (Maggie) Paddock joined the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council as a Director in July 2025. She is responsible for the Business Council’s work in technology, infrastructure, and real estate.
Prior to joining the Business Council, Maggie supported clients in technology, energy, and other sectors as a part of the Dentons Global Advisors’ Middle East team. She held earlier roles as a Syria and Iraq researcher for humanitarian projects out of Jordan and as the Tunisia lead at the National Democratic Institute.
Maggie holds an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins’ School of Advanced International Studies and a B.A. in Political Science from Emory University. She has lived in the Middle East for over a decade and enjoys hiking, cooking, and a good novel.
