The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council invites you to register your interest in attending a high-level panel discussion on advancing the U.S.-U.A.E. technology partnership on the sidelines of the GITEX technology trade show. This convening of the Business Council’s Tech Working Group and its AI task force will take place Wednesday, October 15th from 8:30 to 10:00 AM GST at the Conrad Hotel in Dubai.
This timely program will convene senior executives from leading Emirati and American technology firms for a dynamic conversation on key issues and opportunities in the bilateral tech relationship. Conversation will focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, GPU development, and joint investment in next-generation technologies.
His Excellency Omran Sharaf, Assistant Foreign Minister for Advanced Science and Technology, has been invited to make keynote remarks on promoting global collaboration in emerging technologies. Now the U.A.E.’s top diplomat in science and technology, H.E. Omran Sharaf previously served as Project Director of the Emirates Mars Mission and currently chairs the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.
A distinguished panel of experts from G42, Microsoft, Cisco, and AMD will then lead a discussion on developments in the U.S.-U.A.E. technology partnership, featuring:

- Abdelilah Nejjari, Managing Director, Gulf at Cisco

The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council, through its Tech Working Group, has set up an AI Task Force that provides a platform for U.A.E. leadership to engage with the industry about their vision for AI. This task force convenes industry leaders to discuss international best practices, advocate for policies that underpin the responsible regulation of AI, and explore the transformative potential of AI in all sectors, including education, healthcare, and energy.
