The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council and the U.A.E. Embassy in Washington, D.C., supported by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, invite you to a business reception in honor of the 5K U.A.E. Healthy Kidney Race in Miami, Florida. The reception will be held on Thursday, January 29 at 6:00PM, at the JW Marriott Miami (1109 Brickell Avenue).
Why Attend: Connect with senior diplomats and trade officials from the U.A.E. Embassy in Washington, D.C., as well as visiting dignitaries from the U.A.E., and explore ways U.S. companies with a presence in South Florida can deepen commercial engagement with the U.A.E. by leveraging:
- The opening of the U.A.E. Consulate in Miami;
- The U.A.E. Preferred trade and investment platform;
- The U.A.E.’s long-term commitment to the U.S. economy, including a $1.4 trillion investment pledge over 10 years.
What is the 5K U.A.E. Healthy Kidney Race: Organizations across the U.A.E. and U.S. are working together to support healthy lifestyles and advance medical research. Since 2005, the U.A.E. Embassy and Zayed Charity Run have brought together nearly 100,000 runners to raise awareness about kidney disease, in honor of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the U.A.E.’s first President and a kidney transplant recipient. Originally held in New York, the 5K was inaugurated in Miami, Florida in 2023.
