The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council will host a small, closed-door luncheon and discussion with Brigadier General Joseph W. Rank, Senior Defense Official/Defense Attaché at the U.S. Embassy, Abu Dhabi, on Wednesday, October 7th, in Washington, D.C. BG Rank will discuss the state of U.S.-U.A.E. defense and security coordination in the context of the overall diplomatic relationship between the two countries, as well as recent developments impacting regional geopolitics. During the conversation, BG Rank will also have the opportunity to offer his perspective on the role of the U.S. private sector in the relationship, as well as share some initial forecasts for the top priorities for the U.S. defense establishment in the Gulf for 2016.
