The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council will host a networking reception on Tuesday, February 26th at 6pm in the Terrace Courtyard of the Ritz Carlton, San Francisco on the sidelines of the RSA® Conference 2013. The event will feature keynote remarks by Ms. Jenny Menna, Director of Stakeholder Engagement & Cyber Infrastructure Resilience (SECIR) in the Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C), U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Ms. Menna has been invited to discuss U.S.-U.A.E. cyber security relations and the broader role cyber security plays in safeguarding international commerce. This event will also serve as a follow-up to the recently signed President Executive Order to develop public-private partnerships to enhance U.S. critical national infrastructure protection. For your information, Ms. Menna’s biography can be found below.

Ms. Jenny Menna

Jenny Menna, who previously directed the Critical Infrastructure Cyber Protection & Awareness branch and the United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team, directs SECIR . Under the Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative (CNCI), Ms. Menna led development of the “Project 12 Report: Improving Protection of Privately Owned Critical Network Infrastructure through Public Private Partnership” and the successful completion of all of the recommended milestones in the report. She also led DHS’ engagement with, and input to, the CNCI Project 10 Deterrence activities. Ms. Menna formerly served as the Deputy Director of the Infrastructure Partnerships branch in the Office of Infrastructure Protection and as the Program Manager for Homeland Security Information Network Critical Sectors.

Prior to joining DHS, Ms. Menna held a variety of leadership roles for a large systems integration firm. She received both her M.A. and B.A. from the University of Chicago. She is a graduate of the initial cadre of DHS Fellows and was selected as a member of the Senior Executive Service in 2009.
