Dubai Chamber trade mission to attend Consumer Electronics Show 2012 in Las Vegas

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry is preparing to take its second mission of Dubai-based companies to the world’s largest electronics show to be held in Las Vegas, United States, from January 10-13, 2012.

The Consumer Electronics Show has been running for four decades and attracts around 125,000 visitors from 130 countries. It offers companies a chance to make contact with major global manufacturers and suppliers of technology and learn more about the latest developments in business IT solutions.

The Dubai Chamber trade mission is organised in cooperation with the UAE Embassy in the US, the US Commercial Service, the US-UAE Business Council, the Consumer Electronic Association and the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce.

The mission is organised as part of Dubai Chamber’s objectives to support the growth of Dubai businesses as well as to promote the city as an international business hub.

The annual Consumer Electronics Show is held each January in the Las Vegas Convention Center and features announcements on new IT products and previews of new technology launches.

Dubai Chamber’s first trade mission to the show took place this year and was led by H.E. Hamad Buamim, Director General, Dubai Chamber.
