The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) and the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council will co-lead a U.S. Commercial Aerospace Trade Mission to the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.) from 14-19 April, 2012. The Trade Mission will coincide with the Global Aerospace Summit 2012, an inaugural international aerospace conference presented by Mubadala Aerospace, which will be held in Abu Dhabi from April 16-19. The conference is designed exclusively for senior decision-makers representing international companies and Mubadala Aerospace has requested the participation of American executives on the delegation. For your reference, more information about the summit can be found below.
The Mission is certified by the Commercial Service of the U.S. Department of Commerce, and is supported by the U.A.E. Embassy’s Commercial Office in Washington, D.C. The trade delegation will be comprised of U.S. companies in the aerospace supply and manufacturing sectors looking to broaden their international interests.
While in the U.A.E., mission participants will meet government authorities and aerospace executives from the U.A.E. and be briefed on the commercial opportunity. Participants will learn how to compete for business in the U.A.E.’s aerospace sector and be given ample opportunity to build relationships with potential Emirati commercial partners. The program will also offer introductory information about doing business in the U.A.E., and will include site visits to key aerospace facilities in Abu Dhabi hosted by Mubadala Aerospace.
Executives from companies interested in this opportunity are encouraged to register for the mission at http://www.regonline.com/USAerospaceTM as soon as possible to secure your participation. Please refer to the flyer attached for further trade mission agenda, travel, and registration information.
