Marion Blakey, President & CEO of the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), and Danny Sebright, President of the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council, will co-lead a U.S. Civil & Defense Aerospace Trade Mission to the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.) from April 6th-9h, 2014. The Trade Mission will coincide with the Global Aerospace Summit 2014, the region’s largest international aerospace conference, which will be presented by Mubadala Aerospace and held at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Hotel in Abu Dhabi on April 7th and 8th. The conference is invite-only and designed exclusively for senior decision-makers representing leading international aerospace companies. Mubadala Aerospace has requested the participation of senior American executives at the conference. The conference organizers have provided complimentary passes for delegates registered with AIA and the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council-led mission.
The trade delegation will be comprised of U.S. companies in the aerospace and defense supply chain and related manufacturing sectors looking to broaden their international interests.
While in the U.A.E., mission participants will join exclusive meetings with government authorities from both countries and aerospace executives from the U.A.E. Participants will learn how to compete for business in the U.A.E.’s aerospace sector from local U.S. and U.A.E. stakeholders and will be given ample opportunity to build relationships with potential Emirati commercial partners. The program will also include site visits to key aerospace facilities in Abu Dhabi hosted by Mubadala Aerospace.
Registration costs are $2,500 per delegate and include access to the entire Global Aerospace Summit program, a U.S.-focused set of briefings exclusive to the delegation, and the opportunity to tour flagship aerospace facilities in Abu Dhabi.
