Caitlin Cottrell

Caitlin Cottrell joined the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council as a Director in April, 2024.

Previously, Caitlin worked at the Georgetown University Institute of Politics & Public Service (GU Politics) as Assistant Director of Programming and Student Engagement. As part of this role, she planned and executed events with high-profile individuals in politics and public service as well as liaised between these individuals, staff, and student audiences. Prior to that, she was an intern at the Alliance for Middle East Peace (ALLMEP) where she focused on communications and advocacy.

Caitlin holds a Master of Arts in Arab Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Arts from West Virginia Wesleyan College with a major in Political Science and International Studies and a minor in History.  Caitlin is originally from West Virginia and enjoys sports, crocheting, and traveling.
