In partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Department of State, please see below for more details on the “Cross Border Privacy Rules Seminar” taking place on Wednesday 21 September 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM U.A.E. time in person in Dubai at the DIFC academy, and online via Microsoft Teams.
The Forum seeks to expand the Global Cross Border Privacy Rules and Privacy Recognition for Processors systems for voluntary data privacy certifications that help companies demonstrate compliance with international best practices. The Forum was established by Canada, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United States.
Speakers will feature developers of the Forum, regulators from other jurisdictions, and accountability agents already engaged in the CBPR/PRP systems. They will share insights and answer questions on recent developments in privacy.
