The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council invites you to attend a breakfast in honor of Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Governor of Arkansas, at 8:30 am GST on Friday August 8th, 2025. This event will take place at the Ritz Carlton DIFC Hotel in Dubai.
Governor Sanders is visiting the U.A.E. to meet with top government and business leaders as part of continued efforts to bring more foreign investment and jobs to Arkansas. The visit will have a special focus on developing Arkansas’ largest export industry, aerospace and defense. She will also explore areas of synergy in advanced manufacturing, AI, and advanced technology.
Governor Sanders will be joined at this event by Mr. Dane Johnston, Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Regional & Multilateral Affairs and Assistance Coordination at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs. DAS Johnston will have just attended and led discussions in India with member countries of the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC). He will brief key U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council members with regards to the Trump Administration’s plans and next steps for IMEC.
Inaugurated as the 47th Governor of Arkansas on January 10, 2023, Governor Sanders is the first woman to serve as governor of the state and currently is the youngest governor in the country. Prior to her historic victory, Governor Sanders served as White House Press Secretary for President Donald J. Trump from 2017 to 2019. She previously worked in a variety of leadership roles for U.S. Senators, Governors, and presidential campaigns.
