Ahmed and senior representatives from MGX will brief attendees on MGX’s mandate and their investment strategies. Ahmed and his team will focus on upcoming and expanding investments for MGX and how they are building an AI ecosystem as it relates to semiconductors, AI technology, and AI infrastructure, including data centers, clean energy, and connectivity. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with the MGX team to further explore areas of partnership.
Ahmed Yahia Al Idrissi is the CEO of MGX. He was previously CEO of Direct Investments at Mubadala, where he oversaw investments in the energy, technology, life sciences, consumer, industrial, and financial services sectors. Prior to his roles at Mubadala and MGX, Ahmed was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he co-led the Principal Investor practice and was also the Managing Partner of the Abu Dhabi practice. Ahmed serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CEPSA and is a member of the board of directors of Abu Dhabi Investment Council, Mubadala Capital, and Emirates Global Aluminium.
