The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council invites you to attend a reception in honor of Phil Murphy, Governor of New Jersey, at 7:00 pm GST on Thursday, May 1st, 2025. This event will take place in the Center Cut room of the Ritz Carlton DIFC Hotel in Dubai.
Governor Murphy is leading a delegation of state officials as well as academic and business leaders from New Jersey to the U.A.E. to strengthen economic, cultural, and academic ties and partnerships with New Jersey. The Governor and the Choose New Jersey delegation will engage a number of stakeholders in the U.A.E. during their visit to discuss investment and business opportunities in the areas of energy, advanced technology, logistics, port infrastructure, and healthcare.
Philip D. Murphy took the oath of office as New Jersey’s 56th Governor on January 16, 2018. After being re-elected in November 2021, Governor Murphy became the first Democratic Governor in New Jersey to serve a second term in 44 years. Under his leadership, New Jersey has taken strides in achieving record-high economic growth, expanding critical investments to lower costs for working families, restoring fiscal responsibility to state government, creating new economic opportunities in every community, and shrinking longstanding inequities.
