Speaker Bio
Dr. Shannon Dolan is a career member of the Senior Foreign Service currently serving as Chargé d’Affaires ad interim at the U.S. Mission to the United Arab Emirates. Most recently, she served as Acting Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Mission to Saudi Arabia, where she also served as Minister Counselor for Management Affairs and U.S. Director of the Program of Technical Cooperation. In these roles, she led programs supporting public and tourism security, critical infrastructure protection, and counterterrorism initiatives.
Dr. Dolan’s previous overseas assignments include Saudi Arabia, Armenia, Kosovo, Albania, Georgia, North Macedonia, and the Philippines. She holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology, an MA in Social Psychology, and an MS in Political Science.
