The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council invites you to register your interest in attending a breakfast discussion with H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the U.A.E. Government and Chairman of the U.A.E. Cyber Security Council, on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM GST in Dubai on the sidelines of GISEC GLOBAL 2026.
The program will feature keynote remarks from H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, followed by a panel discussion with senior executives from U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council member companies. Under the theme “Securing the AI Era: U.S.-U.A.E. Cooperation on Trusted AI and Cybersecurity,” Dr. Al Kuwaiti and panelists will explore:
- The evolving cybersecurity landscape amidst new AI-enabled threats, including deepfakes, synthetic identities, automated phishing, fraud and malware.
- The growing role of artificial intelligence in cyber defense, including improved threat detection, faster incident response, and more effective security operations; and
- Opportunities for deeper public-private collaboration between United States and United Arab Emirates.
Appointed by the U.A.E. Cabinet in 2020 as the Head of Cyber Security for the U.A.E. Government, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti is responsible for leading the nation’s cybersecurity strategy and serves as Chairman of the U.A.E. Cyber Security Council and Managing Director of the National Data Centre under the Supreme Council for National Security. Under his leadership, the U.A.E. has emerged as a global cybersecurity leader, advancing to rank fifth worldwide in the ITU Global Cybersecurity Index while strengthening national cyber resilience through innovative public-private partnerships, international collaboration, and the adoption of emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and big data. Dr. Al Kuwaiti has also championed initiatives that position cybersecurity as a strategic enabler of economic growth and digital transformation, helping establish the U.A.E. as one of the world’s most trusted digital hubs.
The discussion will take place during the 15th edition of GISEC GLOBAL, the Middle East and Africa’s leading cybersecurity conference, held from September 16–18, 2026, under the patronage of and in collaboration with the U.A.E. Cyber Security Council, Dubai Electronic Security Centre, Ministry of Interior, and Dubai Police.
