The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council is pleased to share an invitation to a panel discussion to launch the IMF Regional Economic Outlook: The Middle East and Central Asia report on Thursday, May 1st, 2025 at 11:15am GST in The Atrium at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). This panel is organized by the DIFC in partnership with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The panel will discuss the ways in which the Middle East and North Africa can adapt to the shifting global geo-economic and trade landscape, while addressing regional challenges and guidance for policymakers. The report discusses recent economic developments and prospects for countries in the Middle East and Central Asia regions. It also addresses economic policy developments that have affected economic performance in the regions, and discusses key challenges faced by policymakers. It analyzes regional policy developments and challenges, and provides country-specific data and analysis, including through analytical pieces on issues of interest to the regions.
