The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council invites you to attend two workshop sessions with U.A.E. healthcare leadership between 9:30 AM and 12:15 PM on Wednesday 21 October 2026 on the sidelines of Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit. Both sessions will be held at the site of Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) in Abu Dhabi. Final location details will be provided upon RSVP confirmation.
Advancing Precision Medicine and Healthy Longevity
The first workshop session on “Advancing Precision Medicine and Healthy Longevity” will begin at 9:30 AM and examine Abu Dhabi’s development of an integrated ecosystem designed to accelerate innovation and improve health outcomes through genomics, advanced diagnostics, AI-enabled healthcare, clinical trials, biomanufacturing and biomedical research. Panelists will share insights into Abu Dhabi’s long-term strategy, recent initiatives, and opportunities for bilateral partnerships with U.S. companies, healthcare providers, and research institutions. Panelists for this session include:
- H.E. Dr. Fatima Al Kaabi, Director General for the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE)
- Dr. Asma Al Mannaei, Executive Director of the Health Life Sciences Sector for the Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH)

Building Resilient Health Systems
The second workshop “Building Resilient Health Systems” will begin at 11:00 AM and explore how the U.A.E. is building resilient health systems through advancing healthcare innovation, emergency preparedness, and resilient health system design. The conversation will highlight how the U.A.E.’s focus on digital health, artificial intelligence, integrated health data platforms and improving operational resilience has supported and continues to support resilient health systems, and how bilateral partnerships with U.S. institutions continue to support its development. Speakers for this workshop include:
- Kareem Shahin, CEO for Abu Dhabi Health Data Services; and Group Chief Digital Officer for M42
- Maisoon Al Dah, Director of the International Health Relations Office for the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP)
- Representative from Mubadala BIO (TBC)
