U.S. Healthcare Sector

The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council is pleased to present the latest edition of its bi-annual report on the U.S. Healthcare sector. This report focuses on the key hospitals and healthcare companies in the United States and highlights their domestic partnerships and engagement with the U.A.E. This report serves as a complement to the Business Council’s extensive review of the U.A.E. Healthcare Sector, published annually.

This report:

  • Surveys U.S. healthcare institutions and their important collaborations and partnerships with the U.A.E. spanning medical treatment, education, research, philanthropy, investment, and exchange of global best practices.
  • Explores the shifting dynamics of U.S. engagement with U.A.E. healthcare authorities, largely due to the U.A.E.’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and push to develop its local healthcare capacity.
  • Examines new and mutually beneficial forms of engagement, such as partnership on clinical trials, investments in research and development of new technologies, and collaboration on public health and emergency management.
