The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council congratulates the leadership and people of the United Arab Emirates on 43 years as a nation championing peace, prosperity, and partnership. The United States was one of the first members of the global community to formally recognize the U.A.E. as a country in 1971 and bilateral relations have grown exponentially over the past four decades. Today, the U.S. and U.A.E. share a vision to deliver world-class innovation to the global marketplace and provide a platform for people from all over the world to connect commercially, socially, and culturally in a secure, transparent, and welcoming environment.
The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council looks forward to enhancing business and economic ties between the United States and United Arab Emirates in 2015, a year dedicated to innovation by the U.A.E. under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Trade and commerce are central to the U.A.E.’s ambitious economic development plans ahead of World Expo 2020, the U.A.E.’s 50th anniversary, and diversification goals for 2030.
