The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) and the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council are pleased to invite you to join us for a Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology Trade Mission to the U.A.E. from 23-27 January, 2011.  The Mission is certified by the Commercial Service of the U.S. Department of Commerce, and is supported by the U.A.E. Embassy’s Commercial Office in Washington, D.C.  The trade delegation will be comprised of U.S. companies in the healthcare, life sciences, and medical technology industries looking to expand their business in the U.A.E.

The Trade Mission will coincide with Arab Health, the largest annual healthcare exhibition in the Middle East, which will be held in Dubai from January 24-27. Mission participants will meet healthcare authorities and executives from the U.A.E. and be briefed on the commercial opportunities that exist as a result of the country’s policy priorities and demographic demands.  Participants will learn how to compete for business in the U.A.E.’s healthcare sector and be given ample opportunity to build relationships with potential Emirati commercial partners. The program will also provide participants with a comprehensive guide to the fundamentals of doing business in the U.A.E., and will include site visits in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah.

All U.S. companies interested in this opportunity are encouraged to register for the mission as soon as possible as space will be limited.  U.A.E. companies interested in partnership opportunities with U.S. firms in these sectors are also encouraged to participate.
