U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council Welcomes New Team Members

Jonathan Garon and Rachel Choate join the team as the newest members of the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council staff. Jonathan has assumed the position of Associate Program Director and will assist with all of program & content development, member services, and event execution. Rachel joins the team as an Executive Assistant supporting the administrative, event management, and membership efforts of the Council.

Previously, Jonathan worked at the World Affairs Council of Northern California, based in San Francisco. As a Program Coordinator, Jonathan designed and compiled in-depth research packets on policy issues to brief event moderators. In addition, he served as the direct marketing liaison with major Bay Area media outlets in order to raise program awareness and attendance. Jonathan received his BA from University of Rochester, NY in Political Science and History in 2009.

Rachel joins the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council from United to End Genocide, where she worked in Finance and Administration. Prior to this she worked in the Government Relations Department of National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. Rachel studied Middle Eastern Affairs and Arabic at the University of Cincinnati.
